Michael John Toomey registered the Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation, (named in memory of his father), in 2020. He did this to pursue his dream of helping the elderly in the local community. He achieved that goal by transferring his shareholding in MJT Securities Limited to the Foundation.
Donations are made from the company to the Foundation allowing it, in turn, to make a broad range of grants to elderly persons for property related purposes.
It is a testament to his passion, commitment and selfless nature to help the elderly in need in his community.
The Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation was established in 2020. The Objects of the Charity are to relieve the needs of elderly persons through the provision of low cost home ownership and associated services to address their needs.
These Objects are achieved by supporting the elderly community of Essex with a range of grants for property related purposes which will relieve a Charitable need. This could range from providing support to help you move into a Toomey Retirement Apartment, to assisting you with items of repair, maintenance or replacement in your own home.
Our aim is to create long term relationships with our grantees and the local community. We are striving to evolve and deepen these associations over time.
