The Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation was established in 2020. The Objects of the Charity are to relieve the needs of elderly persons through the provision of low cost home ownership and associated services to address their needs.
These Objects are achieved by supporting the elderly community of Essex with a range of grants for property related purposes which will relieve a Charitable need. This could range from providing support to help you move into a Toomey Retirement Apartment, to assisting you with items of repair, maintenance or replacement in your own home.
We aim to create long term relationships with our grantees, local community, and other support agencies. We are striving to evolve and deepen these associations over time.
